I am writing on behalf of the Children’s Hour Academy Foundation (CHAF). The Foundation is a non-profit organization that assists the Children’s Hour Academy (CHA), a small, non-denominational elementary school and infant and toddler development center located in Lake Oswego. The Academy provides positive learning and growth for up to 200 children ranging from infants through elementary children. The Foundation’s mission is to serve children with unparalleled educational and developmental opportunities by augmenting the learning environment in response to each child’s distinct learning style.
The purpose of Children’s Hour Academy Foundation is three-fold, all with the goal of providing the means to address the needs of children. First, parents of the students enrolled in the Children’s Hour Academy are eligible to apply to the foundation for tuition assistance or supplemental funding for professional services or student aids to meet a child’s unique needs. Second, the Foundation will provide support to the Academy for the acquisition of equipment, furniture, and other capital expenses that enrich the learning environment for the children. Third, the Foundation seeks to enhance every student’s learning experience by providing programs and supplies that are intended to be supplemental to the traditional curriculum or adaptive in order to insure that they serve all students regardless of need or ability.
On May 19, 2012, the Foundation will host an auction at the CHA Meridian Campus to raise funds to continue our purpose of enriching the educational experience of the children at the Academy. As parents, we are committed to support the effort and to seek the support of CHA parents, friends, and businesses to meet our goals. We would appreciate your financial sponsorship and partnership. We are asking for donations of services, products, sponsorship of tables, or sponsorship of packages for the auction.
In return for your generosity, the CHAF has a tiered-level of appreciation through advertising to our community. Our highest contributor, the Platinum Donor, will have an active link from the CHA website for one year, company logos prominently displayed on a constant auction slideshow, two e-mail blasts to CHA community for special events or offers, and advanced internet advertising on Facebook, Twitter, CHA Connection Blog, and school newsletters. The foundation will print the names of all business donors on our marketing materials including the auction display table, event posters, and auction catalogue. For your convenience, we have enclosed an Auction Donation Form that includes the Foundations contact information. Simply mail the donation and the Auction Donation Form to the Children’s Hour Academy Foundation. Or, if you need merchandise picked up, contact the Foundation, and a designated committee member will be sent to pick up the donation.
