  I have been a toddler and preschool teacher for over ten years. I enjoy working with children. I am patient with them and treat them with dignity at all times. I support the children’s interest by focusing on them and what they enjoy most in learning.
   I am very attuned to children’s verbal or non-verbal message, making decisions day-by-day, minute-by-minute based on their needs. I also celebrate the complexity of activities to guide children’s level of skill and knowledge while increasing the challenges as children gain competence and understanding. 
   I believe that all children learn how to function well in a society as a whole when they learn early on how to move comfortably among groups of people from both similar and dissimilar backgrounds.
